Advanced Beauty

Year: 2008

The 2008 audiovisual sculpture, part of the "Advanced Beauty" project curated by Matt Pyke of Universal Everything, represents a fusion of narrative storytelling and sensory experience. My role spanned writing the story, spearheading the creative and art direction, and directing the short film that encapsulates this project.

The animation, a pivotal component, was crafted by the skilled hands of Martin Dasnoy, while the soundscape that envelops the visual journey was composed by Simon Pyke. Together, these elements coalesced into a piece that transcended traditional art forms, meriting inclusion in an exhibition at the prestigious Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A).

This work stands as an interdisciplinary endeavor that marries story, sight, and sound in a single, harmonious expression of digital artistry. It serves as a testament to collaborative innovation and the power of modern technology to redefine the boundaries of art.
